My Cooking Adventures

Getting complimented everyday on my cooking!!! Inviting friends to treat them with my own cooking!!! Advising my mom on certain dishes every now and then!!! WOW WOW WOW…Can’t really believe this is “MEEE”!!!

But surprisingly this is really, a girl who have never even willingly ventured into the kitchen back at home! Well, I like this transformation though and would love to share my “cooking adventures” with all of you 🙂

My latest forte is the “CRISPY-SPICY-BABY-CORN”. Very easy to prepare and yummy on the palate. However, preparation time can really be a headache rather than cooking which gets over within even less than 10 minutes. From my experience I have seen that, if you want to prepare this dish, it’s better to get all the ingredients ready before you finally don the cooking cap or the apron in this case. This is a veggie delight, but am sure it will even appeal to the sworn non-veggies as well.

So, here you go with the ingredients:

  1. Baby corn
  2. red and yellow bell pepper
  3. Green capsicum
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Spring onion
  6. Onion
  7. Garlic
  8. Tomato sauce
  9. Chilly sauce
  10. Soya Sauce
  11. Rice flour
  12. Flour
  13. Corn flour
  14. Cooking oil
  15. Brown sugar (you can use the white one also)

  • Mix the three types of flour and make a dip which will be neither too watery nor too thick. Dip the baby corn in the mix and deep fry. Keep the fried corns aside.
  • Pan fry all the vegetables. Be sure to add tomatoes and spring onion lastly; otherwise other vegetables will not be fried properly.
  • Add the 3 types of sauce and mix well with the pan fried vegetables. Add the fried corns at this stage. Add salt and sugar to your liking and stir well.
  • Now mix 2-3 spoonful of cornflour in half cup of water and add to the fried mixture. This will make a yummy looking thick gravy. Whether you would like to have some gravy or would like to dry-up the preparation more is up to you.
  • Serve hot with chapati or paratha.
  • ENJOY 🙂

Donno, if anyone is interested in the recipe; but here is what I like to share with you all… 🙂
